Catie is an author and writing instructor experienced in novels, short fiction, screenplays, and poetry, as well as a competitive gymnastics coach, yoga instructor, and avid surfer.

She grew up on a lake in Northern New Jersey, and currently resides in Santa Monica with her husband and many surf boards.
